Ramon (Ray) Teveni, BBA, MA
Executive Director
Mr. Teveni joined the BCCADA team in December 2007. He oversees the administrative, fiscal and managerial operations of BCCADA. 

Rick Wadsworth, M. Ed., LPC 

Clinical Program Director

Mr. Wadsworth joined the BCCADA team in July of 2006.  He is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of Mental Health Counseling experience.  He earned his Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans where he received the Outstanding Master’s Student award.  Mr. Wadsworth has published three professional journal articles related to trauma and chemical dependency.  He provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families, working with clients ranging in age from eighteen to eighty years of age.  Mood disorders, chemical dependency, relationship difficulties, men’s issues, anxiety, depression, grief and trauma resolution, and family of origin issues are his areas of specialty.

 

Monica Benavides
YPU Program Director
Ms. Benavides joined the BCCADA team in October 2000. She oversees the Youth Prevention Universal program at BCCADA.  She earned her AAS degree in Administrative Computer Technology in June 2001 at Palo Alto College.  She is currently working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations at Texas A&M Kingsville.

 

Laura Vega, Prevention Specialist
Ms. Vega joined the BCCADA team in September of 2004. Ms. Vega teaches a curriculum in our local schools to assist students in their development of decision-making, problem-solving, and other life skills. Presentations also provide accurate information about the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

 

Lori Barnes, Prevention Specialist
Ms. Barnes joined the BCCADA team in July of 2006.  Ms. Barnes teaches a curriculum in our local schools to assist students in their development of decision-making, problem-solving, and other life skills. Presentations also provide accurate information about the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
