The Brush Country Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse, Inc. (BCCADA) was founded in July 1991 by a group of concerned citizens and is funded by the Department of State Health Services. BCCADA serves the residents in the four counties of Atascosa, Frio, Karnes and Wilson, located in South Central Texas.
BCCADA provides Adult Counseling Services through an Outpatient Treatment Program and Prevention Education for the youth in the counties we serve.
The agency’s mission is to serve the people of Atascosa, Frio, Karnes and Wilson counties by raising the level of public awareness and understanding of alcoholism and drug addiction, its nature, its impact on the family and the community, as well as its prevention and recovery. BCCADA addresses the problem of substance abuse by maintaining offices that provide education, information and counseling for affected individuals and their family members.
